The European Research Council (ERC) has selected the NIM researcher Professor Dieter Braun to receive an ERC Starting Grant. The bio-physicist Dieter Braun works with his group at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München on Systems Biophysics. They are mainly interested in constructing biosystems to probe and evolve living matter. Prof. Braun is the third NIM PI to receive an ERC starting grant after Jens Michaelis and Matthias Schneider.
