NIM Colloquium - "Functional Nanoparticles for Tumor Imaging”

Prof. Mingyuan Gao, Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China

Friday, August 28, 2015, 1:15 p.m.

Kleiner Physik-Hörsaal, Fakultät für Physik, Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1

Abstract:

Through either passive or active targeting, functional nanoparticles have shown great potentials in visualizing tumors in vivo. Towards tumor diagnostic applications, in this presentation we will present our years’ efforts ranging from controlled synthesis of functional particles and tumor specific probes to in vivo tumor imaging. In addition, we will show our recent results on tumor microenvironment imaging and lymphatic metastasis imaging.
