Program:

Besides two invited talks on selected topics in nanoscience (speakers will be announced soon) the event provides the NIM-GP students with

1. a chance to inform yourself about the diverse range of activities of the NIM-GP

2.  the opportunity to take part in a “science movie contest” (see information below) 

3. and the opportunity to vote in the election of our new student board. 

Science movie contest for NIM-GP students:

Prepare a short movie (1- 5 minutes ):
Show us what your life as PhD student looks like, how your fancy nano-setup works, what theoretical physicists are doing, what happens in your lab during night ... . 

The election of the winner of the movie award (worth 300 Euros!) takes place at the NIM-GP meeting. Please note on our webpage, if you are planning to prepare a movie.

Also, please think about candidates from TU, LMU and Uni Augsburg for the new student board (if you would like to be elected or if you want to propose a candidate, send an email to us!).
