The European Research Council (ERC) has selected the NIM researcher Professor Philip Tinnefeld to receive an ERC Starting Grant of about 1.5 million Euro. The bio-physicist works with his group at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München on Single-Molecule Fluorescence Spectroscopy. Philip Tinnefeld is the fourth NIM PI within two years to receive an ERC starting grant after Jens Michaelis, Matthias Schneider and Dieter Braun.
