Eva Weig receives Academy Prize for Physics
Awarded from the Göttingen Academy of Sciences
The NIM member Dr. Eva Maria Weig (Nanomechanics Group, Faculty of Physics, LMU München) receives the prize in recognition of her research: Weig and her colleagues are investigating the mechanics of nanosystems at the interface of classical mechanics and quantum mechanics.The award ceremony takes places at the University of Göttingen on 19 November, 2011.
