NIM Scientist Successful in GO-Bio Competition

LMU Project gets funding from the German Ministry for Education and Research

The "Chromobodies Project" leaded by NIM Scientist Professor Heinrich Leonhardt and Dr. Ulrich Rothbauer from the Bio Center at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) Munich was successful in the "GO-Bio" competition of the German Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF). It is one of seven projects, which are funded by the BMBF in the second round of the competition with overall 20 Million Euros. GO-Bio funds top scientists in bio sciences, who develop scientific ideas to a marketable product and who are willing to found a company.
