Two junior NIM scientists have received offers for professorships at TU Munich

The NIM group leaders Alexander W. Holleitner and Friedrich C. Simmel have received offers for professorships at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Holleitner will work as professor for experimental physics in the field of “Nanotechnology an Nanomaterials”. Simmel shall be engaged for “Bio Electronics”. Both junior scientists come from the nanophysics group of Prof. Jörg P. Kotthaus at the Ludwig Maximilians University Munich (LMU). Simmel as well as Holleitner will remain at the Nanosystems Initiative Munich. They will continue their work in the research areas D, E, and F. The professorship for Alexander Holleitner could only be established thanks to NIM.
