Hermann Gaub new member of the Council of Scientists of the Human Frontier Science Program

The Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) is a program of funding for frontier research in the life sciences. It is implemented by the International Human Frontier Science Program Organization (HFSPO) with its office in Strasbourg. At present scientists from 13 countries and the EU build the so-called Council of Scientists.

Recently the NIM member Prof. Hermann E. Gaub has been nominated as representative for Germany. The Council of Scientists deliberates and decides on scientific matters related to the current operation of the Program. The Council is responsible for making recommendations on awards to the Board of Trustees and proposing members of the Review Committees. Council members are responsible for reviewing the Career Development Awards. (Source: www.hfsp.org)
