NIM member Professor Paolo Lugli, Institute for Nanoelectronics, TU München, has been elected as new member of the German National Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech). 

acatech represents technological science in Germany and abroad and advises politics and society concerning future technologies. The academy is a nonprofit organisation, financed by the federal and state governments.
