Guest-Professor from Tokyo
The research cooperation of the LMU and the university of Tokyo, which has been contracted in October 2007, starts with a first joint research project in pharmaceutical nanotechnology.
A German-Japanese research team works at the LMU about „Smart Drug Nanocarriers and Nanomedicine“ under the supervision of Kazunori Kataoka (Professor at the Center for NanoBio Integration, University of Tokyo) and Ernst Wagner (Professor for pharmaceutical biotechnology at the LMU). The LMU has installed a guest-professorship for Professor Kataoka within NIM.
