NanoTemper winner of "Deutscher Innovationspreis"
The Munich company NanoTemper is winner of the German Innovation Prize (“Deutscher Innovationspreis”) in the category “Start-up companies”.
NanoTemper was founded in 2008 as a spin-off from the Center of Nanoscience (CeNS) and from the Nanosystems Initiative Munich (NIM) at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. The company deals with the unique and proprietary technology “Microscale Thermophoresis (MST)” which is based on microscale temperature gradients.
“Deutscher Innovationspreis” is an annual initiative of the companies Accenture, EnBW, Evonik and the magazine WirtschaftsWoche under the patronage of the Federal Minister of Economics and Technology Dr. Philipp Rösler. The prize was awarded on March 16, 2012 in Munich.
