Thorsten Hugel receives Rudolf-Kaiser-Preis 2011
The NIM member Thorsten Hugel receives the Rudolf-Kaiser prize for his outstanding scientific work concerning the functionality of molecular machines. The prize has a value of 35,000 Euro. It is awarded to young experimental physicists and is one of the highest endowed awards for young natural scientists in Germany. Hugel is professor at the physics department of the Technische Universität München (TUM).
