Walther-Nernst-Denkmünze for Christoph Bräuchle

At this year's annual conference of the Deutsche Bunsengesellschaft für Physikalische Chemie NIM member Prof.
Christoph Bräuchle (LMU) received the Walther-Nernst-Denkmünze. The price is awarded only every three years to scientists who have made very important contributions in the field of Applied Physical Chemistry.
The first chairman of the Bunsengesellschaft, Prof. Joachim Sauer (Humboldt-Universität Berlin), presented the deed and medal. Prof. Klaus Meerholz (Universität Köln), formerly assistant professor at the Bräuchle chair, held the laudatory speech.
